Course Description:
The Talented Visual Art Class will provide a solid foundation for beginning art students in drawing, coloring, painting and 3D media. The students who are taking the service will become familiar with the elements of art and principles of design while completing a variety of assigned projects and experimenting with different media and processes. In addition to art production, students will be introduced to art history, art criticism and aesthetics.

● Main Art Projects (Long Term Projects) will take 2-4 weeks
- It is essential that students put in a great deal of time and effort into these projects.
Weekly projects/sketchbook assignments will take a week. The students can work on weekly projects at home or in the classroom if they finish their main projects.
● Because this class is a performance class, daily participation is essential to maintaining good
grades.

66% and below F

● Grades are updated in JCampus every other week. Parents should check online grades regularly.

● Students must turn in all assignments on time to earn full credit.
Absent Policy:
● Students are expected to complete their main and weekly projects even if they absent multiple days or weeks. Students need to be responsible to gather this work and ask any questions related to work or projects they have missed. If necessary, they should seek out the teacher during an appropriate time.
Note: The parents and students can fallow the projects descriptions and comments via Google Classroom. Each students will have the Google Classroom Code at the beginning of the School year. The students will be able to contact teacher via Google Classroom.
